This painting is a bit different from theothers. It is a collaboration. My favourite art supply store, The Paint Spot, held an "Unfinished Painting Challenge". The idea is to bring an unfinished painting to the store and bring someone else's unfinished painting home. This canvas is the one I brought home to finish. It had the background colour already. The hot fiery colours suggested hot coals and flames to me. It only needed a Viking blacksmith to complete it!
